In January, the Department reviewed the activities of 2024. This retrospective highlighted a particularly productive year, marked by collaborations, events, and archaeological operations. This provides a solid base for planning ahead, while ensuring that our scientific research program aligns with the objectives set for the Field Archaeology Department. However, this should not distract us from the efforts still required, particularly for the organisation of our archive’s documents – an essential task for ensuring the sustainability and accessibility of our work for the future.
The current winter phase is primarily dedicated to the writing of archaeological reports, a period that balances between post-excavation work and text editing.
