Saturday 16th May 2026

The Section will be exploring the seashore area around La Rocque Harbour in search of Ice Age sediments, fossil beaches and igneous geology. This will involve walking over sand, gravel and rock, so the wearing of sturdy, waterproof shoes or wellies is essential. The walk will be led by Paul Chambers.

Spaces are strictly limited and, at this time, attendance is open exclusively to members of the Geology Section. If you would like to register your interest, please contact Colin, our Chair of Geology, at geology@societe.je. Further details will be shared via the Geology mailing list.
