 Société Jersiaise 10-year Strategy We are working with Derros, a local impact economics firm, on the next phase of Société Jersiaise’s long-term strategy. This work has been supported by the Jersey Community Foundation with funds from the Channel Islands lottery, for which we are extremely grateful. As part of that work, we are asking every Member to share their views via a survey.The Société has been in existence for 153 years. Over that time, Jersey has changed almost beyond recognition – and so has the role we play in the Island’s research, heritage and identity. As we look at the next chapter, we want to make sure that the future direction of the Société is shaped not just by the Board, but by the people who make this organisation what it is. The survey has been designed for various audiences, and takes between 10–30 minutes depending on which version you choose. There are no hard and fast rules, and you are free to choose whichever survey you like, notwithstanding the recommendations. You will be asked how you experience the Société today, where you think it does its best work, and where you believe it should focus next. Some questions may feel broader than your own area of interest – please bear with us. The collective picture is what makes the answers useful. What you say will also help us articulate the value of the Société to external audiences – funders, government, partners – who shape the environment we operate in. The more clearly we can describe what the Société does and why it matters, the better placed we are to protect and grow it. Please complete the survey by Sunday 22 June.
