Jersey Cudweed (Laphangium luteoalbum) is one of our rare and protected wildflowers.

It is a rather nondescript slender, branched plant with densely white-woolly stems and leaves. The flowers are in small clusters and look brownish/yellow.

There are very few sites in Jersey where this plant grows and yesterday we were really excited to find a brand new location in St Peter!

It likes to grow in pavements and other nutrient-deficient areas.
