Meteorology Section May Update 2025

A recent book asked ‘How bad is a banana?’ with regard to our carbon footprint.  Not bad at all it turns out, especially when compared with airfreighted fruit and vegetables from Africa and central America!  This was a topic touched on at the Meteorology Section meeting in April, along with climate change and other matters.
