On 29th October, the section was invited to the Youth Archaeologists Club “Finds” session. Richard Miles and Dave Le Long attended, bringing along a selection of coin finds ranging from 100 BCE to 1700 CE, as well as artifacts from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman period, and later.
The star attraction of the session was a cannonball, which captured everyone’s attention. It proved to be an interesting and enjoyable afternoon for both the Young Archaeologists and the Numismatic team.
