A sincere thank you to everyone who supported our Nigel Quérée Quiz on Friday 6th March 2026. It was a wonderful evening and, thanks to your generosity, we’ve already raised £1,522.
A very special thank you goes to our amazing Quiz Master, Nick Carver, who did a superb job and kept everyone thoroughly entertained throughout the night.

All funds raised go towards the Nigel Quérée Environment Award, established by the Société Jersiaise in memory of one of Jersey’s most dedicated environmentalists. The award supports students, citizen scientists and community groups carrying out environmental research, fieldwork and projects that help us better understand and protect Jersey’s natural environment.
These grants (up to £2,000) help cover practical project costs — from field equipment and research materials to other essential expenses — enabling worthwhile ideas to become reality.
If you’d like to help support future environmental research and conservation projects in Jersey, any additional contribution would be most gratefully received.
