The Société Jersiaise is delighted to announce that applications are now open for two prestigious awards supporting Jersey’s creative talent – the Barreau Art Scholarship and the Averil Picot Art Scholarship.
These long-established awards provide vital financial support to students and artists pursuing studies or developing their practice in fine art and related disciplines, including painting, sculpture, architecture, photography and film.
- Barreau Art Scholarship – grants of up to £2,000 are available to support higher education or artistic development.
- Averil Picot Art Scholarship – awards of up to £2,000 for students studying fine art (or a closely related subject) at Degree or Foundation level.
Applicants are asked to submit an application form along with a short proposal outlining their intended studies or creative development, supported by a portfolio of work.
