Edmund Blampied, The Great Storm off Corbière
How would you create a piece of Art in response to the exhibition? This could be a traditional or contemporary look at life in Jersey now, or use Blampied’s images to inspire something different.
“What is a response” I hear you cry!
You might create a reinterpretation or emulation of a specific piece of Blampied’s work, perhaps by copying techniques, colour palettes, or themes.
Or perhaps a thematic reflection will inspire you to creating artwork that serves as your personal reaction to a specific theme, emotion, or historical event.
ANY medium can be utilised to create your response, paint, pencil, digital art, sculpture, textile, photography, film, the written word or anything!
Submit your interest by filling the attached form by Tuesday, September 15th.
