Entomology – A Delicate Task: Digitising Jersey’s Oldest Insect Records

Members of the Entomology section, one of the oldest sections in the Société, are currently transferring the data of each insect onto the Jersey Biodiversity Centre system — the date, location, the recorder’s name, plus any other information that was recorded at the time. Some of these insects are well over one hundred years old and have to be handled with much care. A long but enjoyable task.
