On Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September, the Société Jersiaise was delighted to take part in the Regen Gathering at Le Tacheron Farm. This inspiring event brought together a diverse range of projects, demonstrations, exhibitors and speakers, all focused on the future of food, farming, health and the environment.
The festival provided a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community, share knowledge, and celebrate the many initiatives helping to build a more sustainable future for Jersey. We were inspired by the enthusiasm and passion of everyone involved and were proud to contribute to such a positive and thought-provoking event.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the Société’s volunteers and Sections who took part throughout the weekend. Their time, expertise and commitment helped showcase the breadth of knowledge and interests represented within our organisation.
A special mention goes to Richard Perchard from our Entomology Section, whose enthusiasm, expertise and dedication were greatly appreciated by visitors and fellow participants alike.
Finally, thank you to the organisers and everyone who attended for making the weekend such a success. We are grateful to have been part of this vibrant Jersey festival and look forward to supporting future Regen Gatherings.
