Dear Members,
Please take this as notice of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 19th March, 2025 at 19.00 in the Members’ room at the Société Jersiaise, Pier Road, St Helier.
The order of business will:
1. Summary of activities in 2024
2. Presentation and adoption of Accounts for 2024
3. Election of Officers. We are delighted to advise that a new member, Callum Webb, has stepped forward to offer himself for election as Secretary as Jane Hurley will be standing down.
We are still looking for a Chairperson, so if you would like to put yourself forward, or would like to discuss the position first, please do contact us.
The other officers are not due for re-election. That is Pam de Gruchy as Treasurer, Miranda Collett as Training Officer (both re-elected at the AGM in 2024) and Hannah Le Morvan as Research Officer (elected at the AGM in 2023).
Once the business of the AGM is complete the meeting will be open to all, members and non-members. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits will be provided! This will be a chance to chat to other members, catch up on batty news, learn more about possible JBG activities for 2025 and, of course, where you might be able to help!
