In association with Société Jersiaise Ornithology Section, please come and join us for a spot of coastal birdwatching!

Saturday 22nd November

From 08.00 to 10.00

Meet at La Rocque Car Park

Waders over-winter here in Jersey mainly between November and February, although they actually start arriving at the end of the Summer after the have bred.

These are the birds you see wading along the shoreline searching for food. They generally have long legs and bills adapted for feeding at different levels in the sand.

This event is perfect for anyone with an interest in bird watching, but will be aimed at beginners.

Spare binoculars will be available.
No need to book – just turn up between 08.00 and 10.00
